Vista Dual Boot w/Ubuntu9.04

The computer is less than a year old. I just left Quaint Tech reading about uninstalling in case I run into a bunch of trouble. Now I'm getting nervous. Should I plan on hitting some walls with the Ubuntu running on my machine?
