Dual Audio with Devede?

When I use the program Devede to convert my media to a form that will play on my DVD player, I end up losing the daul audio channel and it only records the default (In Japanese). Sometimes I like Japanese with subtitles, but this doesnt even have subtitles, and most people outside of the anime community prefer watching them in English.

How can I change the default language or create a new file that uses only the English so that English is the language that it gets recorded in during conversion with Devede?

Is there another program I can use?

I don't know about Devede specifically, but in general, you are looking for an option that sets the audio language or the audio ID (in mplayer, for instance, this would be the -alang and -aid options respectively). I imagine that Devede is choosing the lowest-numbered AID (usually 128 on any given DVD) as the default, and whether that is Japanese or English is entirely dependent on the Anime producer's decisions, and is, therefore, arbitrary.

Part of this, of course, is caused by the fact that Japan and the US both have NTSC in our histories, and so video encoded properly for one is encoded properly for the other, save for any tweaks made to the region code. A lazy anime producer will just change the region code (or just set it to 0 in the first place) when re-releasing to North American markets.

Thanks for the input, but I am not trying to watch this on my computer. Switching the language on Mplayer is no problem. What Devede does is take all your video files and converts them into a format that will play on any DVD player, and not just the cool ones that play everything.

I need to convert it to a format with only one audio channel with a program that has the option of choosing which of the dual audio channels I want to keep instead of using the first one on the list by default.
